S.A. Questions Discuss the roles of constitutions in terms of limiting government and protecting individual rights at both the national and state levels. Do constitutions still fulfill these intended functions? Explain some differences and similarities between the U.S. Constitution and the state constitution of the state you have chosen. While the U.S. Constitution has been amended only 27 times in over 200 years, many state constitutions have hundreds of amendments. compare constitutional change at the national level to that at the state level. Examine the Constitution of the state you have chosen and report on how it addresses terms of members of the State Legislature. ie. Length of terms for Representatives and Senators. Does your state constitution place term limits on members of the legislature?
